Dr. Joy-Ann Deane attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996. She completed her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Dr. Deane received the Gamma Phi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society certificate of excellence for demonstrating exceptional ability in fixed and removable prosthodontics all four years of dental school.
Dr. Deane is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care and makes every effort to put her patients at ease. She broadens her areas of expertise and hones her skills with continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest technologies and advances in dentistry. Dr. Deane is well known for her artistic/aesthetic dentistry and preventative approach to dental care. Caries risk assessment and disease management are important elements in her treatment planning.
Since 2006, Dr. Deane has been honored to serve on the dental team of United Hands, Inc., a multi-specialty medical missionary organization. Her travels have taken her to Ghana, Jamaica, Tobago, Honduras, Guatemala, Suriname, Curacao, Bahamas and Florida, where thousands of underserved people have been treated and educated on living healthier lives.
When away from the office, she enjoys music, gardening, reading, marksmanship, motorcycles, and church ministries.
